In this day and age of new consoles having thousands of games, that5 can be played as well as certain consoles having exclusive games it would be obvious that certain games would be wildly popular compared to other games. But every system has a few games that are the most popular among its players. This is what I will be covering today. I will cover the top games for Play Station 5, Xbox series X, as well as Nintendo Switch. Or this I will be using the website of one of the countries biggest video game retailers GameStop. On their site, I will be checking the top sellers for each console and elaborating on the game a bit to give you a sense of what the game is about. With that out of the way, let’s get to it.

The current number one game for the PlayStation 5 is Marvel’s Guardians of the galaxy. This game was produced by Square Enix and brings a new light to the story of the guardians of the galaxy. This game is a third-person action-adventure game that is rated T for language, Mild Blood, Mild suggestive themes, use of alcohol, and finally violence. You only play as star lord, but you can command the other guardians to use unique skills when they are ready. The second most popular game for the PlayStation 5 would be Call of duty vanguard. In this new installment, Activation decided to go back to WWII again. Vanguard is your standard first-person shooter and follows the same formula as the most call of duty games with a campaign, multiplayer, and a zombie’s mode. Vanguard is rated M for Blood and gore, intense violence, Strong language, suggestive themes, and use of drugs. The third most popular game for the PlayStation 5 is Resident evil village. This game is the 8th game in the Resident Evil series produced by Capcom. This game is a horror survival game in which you play as the main character Ethan Winters. This game was rated M however I do not have the reasoning for this rating.
The second console I will be covering today is the Xbox series X. This is the newest console in Microsoft’s Xbox line. The number one game for Xbox series X is currently Halo Infinite. This is a future based first person shooter produced my 343 industries. The Halo series is extremely popular it’s it is one of Xbox is biggest Xbox exclusive game franchises. Although Halo is an Xbox exclusive it is also available to be downloaded and played on a computer trade hey weather has been long awaited and with the multiplayer currently released in campaign coming in December things are looking very good for this new title. The second most popular game on the Xbox series X is the game Forza Horizon 5 which was developed by playground games. Forza Horizon 5 is a racing game that continues the series Forza Horizon place in Mexico not only can you race cars but you can also fly planes and other vehicles. The third most popular game for the Xbox series X is far cry 6. far cry 6 is a first person shooter adventure game produced by Ubisoft. Although it is number 6 in the main series there are 8 games in the series altogether. Far cry 6 is rated M for blood and gore, intense violence, strong language, suggestive themes, and use of drugs.
The final console I will be covering today is the Nintendo switch and the Nintendo switch Ole D model. Even though the OLED model is newer both units take the same games. The number one most popular game for the Nintendo switch is Mario Kart 8 deluxe. This game was produced by Nintendo themselves and features fan favorite characters from Mario franchise as well as special appearances from a few other characters in a racing game. Mario Kart is rated E for everyone and takes your normal racing game Anne flips it on its head by adding in different goofy items from the Mario universe. the second was popular game for the Nintendo switch is Pokémon brilliant diamond. This game was produced by the Pokémon company and is a remake of the original Pokémon diamond from years ago. Just like every other Pokémon game Pokémon brilliant diamond is rated E for everyone. This remake was long awaited as Pokémon diamond and Pearl were some of the most beloved Pokémon games in history therefore its spot on this list does not surprise me. Finally the last game I will be covering and the third most popular games the Nintendo switch is Legend of Zelda breath of the wild. This game was produced by Nintendo and took everything we thought we knew about Zelda and flipped it on its head as we experienced for the time an open world Zelda game. Phenomenal reviews it was one of the games that launched with the switch.
