Ever since I was a child I have found joy in video games. video games are a hobby but also an escape from the stresses of school, work, and even sometimes life. Videogames are a hobby that anyone can get into because they come in many formats and variations. There are puzzle games, action games, shooting games, strategy games, building games, farming games, and even a game where you can virtually pressure wash things. This opens up the hobby to anyone as they can find something to relate to or enjoy. On top of all these categories, there are single-player games, multiplayer games, co-op games, and party games. Single-player games are just as they sound you are the only person who can play the game at one time. Multiplayer games are normally based online with people from all over there globe all playing the same game. Co-op games are normally played with 2-4 people using the same system in the same room to play the game at the same time and they are working together to accomplish a goal. Party games are normally played with 2-8 people where everyone is competing against each other to become the one and only victor. these allow for a wide variety of games and game modes that can be played that fall within the previously mentioned genres. There are also different platforms on which you can play these games whether it is on a computer, PlayStation or Xbox console, or even a handheld console like a Nintendo switch. computers and consoles allow you to play your game in a fixed location on a big screen. On the other hand, a handheld console allows you to take your game with you anywhere you go whether it be on a road trip or even on a plane. this allows you to make a boring trip less boring. In the end, there is a video game for everyone you just have to find it.
